Rally Bonnie Doon will be held on Saturday, April 17.

Welcome to the 2010 motorsport season E-mail

Welcome to the North Eastern Car Club's website. Our 2010 club calendar is currently being finalised and will be available shortly.

 

The first general meeting for the year will be held on Wednesday, February 3. The meeting, which will begin at 8pm, will be preceded by a free BBQ put on by the club. The BBQ will start at 6pm, and all members, family and new members are most welcome to attend.

 
Lee wins Mt Porepunkah Rallysprint E-mail

Warren Lee and David Lethlean have taken a convincing victory in the Mt Porepunkah Rallysprint, held near Bright in north east Victoria on September 12.

Driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 2, the improving Lee took a 22 second victory in the eight stage, 64km event, heading home the Lancer Evo 6 of father and daughter, Craig and Carrie Morris.

Naish wins Outback Trial / Mt Porepunkah Rallysprint ready to go E-mail

Wangaratta rally driver, Terry Naish, has won the Classic Outback Trial, which finished in northern NSW last weekend.

Run as a side event to Australia’s round of the World Rally Championship, Naish and navigator Ross Runnalls guided their Datsun 1600 to victory in the six-day marathon.

NECC crews do well in Nissan Nightmoves Rally E-mail

Driving a Ford Escort, Peter Whitten and Ged Blum have finished fifth outright in round two of the Victorian Club Rally Series, the Nissan Nightmoves Rally, held last Saturday night.

Competing together for the first time, Whitten and Blum started the event 21st of the 53 entries, but made their way through the field over the event’s eight stages, which totalled 175km.
